Highland hospital launches new bereavement service

A BEREAVEMENT service has been launched at the main hospital in the Highlands to ensure a smooth service is provided to families of the deceased.

All bereaved relatives at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness will now have a single point of contact with a bereavement officer to ensure assistance is provided with the legal processes following a death, including sensitive issues such as post mortem examination.
