BA pilot loses anti-Scottish racism claim
Douglas Maughan, 54, sued the airline after he was allegedly called a 'Jock' and told to go back to Scotland.
Capt. Maughan, from Edinburgh, claimed that after he exposed his colleagues' casual racism in a newspaper article, pilot trainer Capt. Adrian South retaliated by marking him down in a regular flying assessment.

Capt. South said that he judged his colleague's cockpit manner to be 'overwhelming', leading him to award Capt. Maughan a grade three on a five-level tier. Previous assessments had rated the pilot at level one.
Capt. Maughan, who has 29 years of flying experience, alleged that his colleagues had used a number of racist slurs.
