Catalogue of town’s history to be made with £42k grant
The team has been awarded a National Cataloguing Grant of more than £42,000 – the second highest of all the grants across the UK and the only successful grant in Scotland.
The funding has enabled the council to plan an 18-month project called Livingston New Town, From Plan to Community, 1962-2012. The project will be led by a cataloguing archivist and will involve the cataloguing of the records of Livingston Development Corporation as well as some of the archive’s smaller Livingston collections.
