College hands out prizes to top students
The college, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, awarded certificates to 45 students who have completed the year-long arts and humanities course, which covers a range of subjects from politics to creative writing.
It was an emotional day for the students, most of whom live at the college throughout the year to devote themselves to their studies.

Hide AdDuncan Tetlow, who moved to the college from Birmingham last year, said “Living among such a diverse group of people was daunting at first, but spending so much time together meant we could encourage each other and stay focused on our studies. It seems to have paid off, as I’ve just been accepted to study philosophy at Edinburgh University”.
