Body of a 77-year-old man found inside caravan after it caught fire
Police and fire crews were made aware of the fire near Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire yesterday, Wednesday January 6, just after 7am.
After fire crews extinguished the blaze, the body of a 77-year-old man was found within the caravan.

Hide AdInvestigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a fire at a caravan on land in the East Mains of Pitfour area near Mintlaw shortly after 7am on Wednesday, January 6.
"The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.
"The body of a 77-year-old man was found within.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
