Women's safety in Scotland: Man, 36, charged in connection with ‘causing fear and alarm’ to young girls in Kilsyth
The news comes after young girls in the Kilsyth area were left in ‘fear’ following several incidents in mid-March this year.
The first incident happened on Wednesday, March 17 in Burngreen and involved two ten-year-old girls.

Hide AdThe second incident happened on Friday, March 19 in Stirling Road and involved an 11-year-old girl.
The man in question is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court today, Wednesday March 31.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with causing fear and alarm to young girls in Kilsyth.
"A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 31 March, 2021.”
