Former SFA chief Jim Farry dies

Former Scottish Football Association chief executive Jim Farry has died aged 56, the governing body confirmed today.

Farry, from East Kilbride, is believed to have died from a heart attack.

Farry spent more than 25 years working in football administration before his nine-year tenure as SFA chief executive came to a controversial end in 1999.
