A LARGE Lotto prize of £143,585 is yet to be claimed in the Capital with players being asked to double-check their tickets.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, bought in Edinburgh, who matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on February 2.

The winning Lotto numbers were 2, 17, 20, 42, 46, 48 and the bonus ball was 44.

The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on August 1 to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to a good cause.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings."
