Help for teen mums on way
TEENAGE mums will get extra help to give their children a healthier start in life under a £1.6 million pilot scheme launched in Craigmillar.
The Family Nurse Partnership is based on a programme in Harlem, New York, which health secretary Nicola Sturgeon saw on a visit last year.
Six family nurses will offer guidance on areas such as child development, preventative health measures, parenting skills, breastfeeding, and food information and advice.
