ALEX Salmond said David Cameron’s “jaikit will be on a shoogly peg” if the Yes vote scores a victory in the referendum on Scottish independence.

The First Minister was speaking at a pro-independence event in Edinburgh on the same day that the Prime Minister, along with Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband, travelled to Scotland to campaign on behalf of Better Together.

Mr Salmond said he believed Mr Cameron would be in an “untenable position” if Scotland becomes independent.
