A NEW cross-party campaign was launched yesterday calling for home rule be adopted in Scotland.

Former Labour first minister Henry McLeish, along with ex-MSPs Andrew Wilson (SNP), Margaret Smith (Liberal Democrats) and Derek Brownlee (Conservatives) are just a few politcians backing the campaign which demands a “credible, sustainable and authoritative alternative to independence”.

McLeish went on to say that Westminster needs to stop “reacting to the mood” and create something which “serves the needs of Scotland”.
