The panel is looking forward to reviewing entries received from firms across the country who are keen to be awarded with highly-regarded recognition in front of their peers.
There are 18 categories in this year’s awards programme including three new categories – Training Provider of the Year and Public Sector Law Team of the year return to the line-up and a new award, Employer of the Year, will reward a firm which has displayed positive engagement with staff and partners.
The Scott & Co Legal Awards are also supported for the first time by Tilney Best Invest. The investment and financial planning firm is sponsoring the ever-popular Litigation Team of the Year.
Paul Frame, managing director of Tilney Best Invest, commented: “Our business in Scotland is founded on the development of constructive partnerships with the legal community, and helping to strengthen and maintain client relationships over the generations.
“We are proud to be a support sponsor of The Scottish Legal Awards 2015.”
Firms submitting entries have until Thursday, 27 November, 2014 and can upload their work online at www.thelegalawards.com. The finalists will be revealed on Monday, 5 January, 2015. The awards programme is free to enter, but firms are requested to include a voluntary donation to It’s Good 2 Give, the award’s charity partner.
Two categories will be chosen by the eminent judging panel – with several new judges on board, including vice-president of the Law Society of Scotland, Christine McLintock and head of professional practices at Bank of Scotland, Paul McCluskey.
