Traffic clash
The suspicion with which
cyclists, drivers and pedestrians view each other (Letters, 29 and 30 May) seems to be peculiar to the British Isles, and one wonders why.
It’s true that many cyclists and drivers treat each other and pedestrians with disrespect but does it happen more so here than in other countries?
I like to think that somewhere on the other side of the world, pedestrians write rabid letters to newspapers complaining about how badly other people walk.
