Out of Africa and into the Capital's cinemas

THE UK's largest African film festival is to run in the city from October 21 to November 5.

Africa in Motion will feature than 70 films., screening at the Filmhouse and other venues across the city.

The festival will open with the comedy Sex, Okra and Salted Butter, by Cannes jury winner Mahamat-Saleh Haroun.

Festival co-director, Stefanie Van de Peer, said: "Having built up close relationships with so many people and events over the past four years has proved to be amazing.

"It has given us the opportunity to collaborate with more events organisers and venues all over Edinburgh."
