Parents' class fears abated

PARENTS worried about the creation of more composite classes at a city school have been told that there will not be any more classes created.

Parents had been warned that a high intake of new P1 pupils would lead to the addition of three extra composite classes at Pentland Primary.

Local councillor Jason Rust said: "I am delighted that the situation has been reversed. The prospect of five composite classes was not one relished by most parents."
