Peterhead Community Council held a Hallowe’en Spooktacular recently, which proved a bit hit with those who went along.

Eileen Styles from the community council had overseen the project and had a great evening of entertainment planned.

There was song, dance and entertainment, while sandwiches and treats were served along with teas and coffees.

And those going along were invited to join the fun by dressing up in a Hallowe’en costume.

Fun on the night was provided by a variety of community groups and local entertainers including Josh the Ninja Piper, The Trick Circle, Ya Hunga and Kim Styles.

The project, which was free to attend, was an opportunity to provide a feel good event to the local community. The community council has expressed thanks to all who went along and to the acts who took time to perform.

Thanks were also given to the Styles family for volunteering to help on the night and to Brew Toon, Room 7, WH Smith, Wetherspoons and Arc Cinema for donations to the raffles, and to Nickle & Dime for agreeing to sell tickets for the event.

Commenting on the night, Paula Massie, secretary of Peterhead Community Council told us: “The event was a success and will hopefully be the first of many feelgood events provided by the community council.”
