Sturgeon is urged to level over minimum alcohol price
HEALTH Secretary Nicola Sturgeon has been pushed to state the level at which she would set the minimum price for alcohol.
The call came as the two sides in the debate over minimum pricing argued over a new report which said people across all income groups bought cheap alcohol.
Dr Bruce Ritson, chair of the Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems, said the research suggested concerns that minimum pricing would target low-income households could be unfounded.
