Pupils show pedal power
A GROUP of pupils from James Young High School in Livingston has restored and repaired several bikes handed into recycling centres.
The four pupils recently completed a six-week scheme with Pc Alan James from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Halfords provided spare parts for the bikes at reduced rates, with a member of staff leading the repair sessions alongside two volunteer teachers.
On completion, the bikes were given to the pupils.
