Queensferry Road reopens after serious accident
The man was knocked down by a Ford Transit at around 7am with police closing the road in both directions at the Clermiston junction.
He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Hide AdA Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Edinburgh were in attendance after a serious road collision on Queensferry Road around 7am this morning.
“A 20-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a transit van and was conveyed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“There were road closures in place on Queensferry Road at the junction with Clermiston Road but the road was reopened at 9.50am.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police on 101.”
