Two stabbed in Dundee house fight

A man was arrested today after two people were injured in a stabbing at a house.

A 39-year-old woman and man aged 21 were hospitalised following the attack in Dundee's Mid Craigie area in the early hours.

Police were called to a house on Glenconnor Drive at around 4am where they found the pair with stab wounds.

A 25-year-old man was charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow.

Tayside Police said the victims' injuries were not life threatening.

A statement said: "Both were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital

in Dundee where the woman was treated for stab wounds to her chest and the man was treated for stab wounds to his legs and stomach."
