Plea for death-row mother's life
THE daughter of a British woman on death row in the United States has pleaded with MPs to help stop the execution.
Jovelle Carty Joubert flew to the UK from her home in Texas to rally support for her mother, Linda Carty, 51, who was convicted in 2002 of murdering a woman but has always protested her innocence.
