Supermarkets top for children's clothes
CASH-STRAPPED parents are buying more of their children's clothes at supermarkets, a study has revealed.
Sales from supermarkets make up the biggest proportion of spending by shoppers on children's clothing for the first time, beating all other outlets with a 29 per cent share of the childrenswear market, according to the study by consumer analysts Mintel.
