Brown Hoops for another Hampden hurrah

Celtic skipper Scott Brown has his sights set on another Old Firm final in the Co-operative Insurance Cup after the Glasgow pair were kept apart in the semi-final draw.

Celtic will play Aberdeen in the last four while Rangers will have to overcome Craig Brown's Motherwell on January 29-30.

Celtic beat Rangers in the final two seasons ago but Walter Smith's men reclaimed the trophy with victory over St Mirren.

Former Hibs star Brown won the cup with the Easter Road side in 2007 and, while still recovering from a broken metatarsal, is now determined to help Celtic return to a Hampden final. "If we win and get to the final it will be great. Hopefully I will be back and flying by then," he said.
