Leigh Griffiths has a better goals-to-starts ratio than any other striker playing in Europe's top leagues.

The Celtic hitman has netted 20 times on league duty this campaign despite making only 19 appearances, 17 of which came from the starting XI.

That’s a better ratio than the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale and Neymar among others.

His full goals-per-games ratio is slightly behind Karim Benzama, who’s made one fewer appearance as a substitute.

The in-form striker netted a hat-trick in Celtic’s 8-1 win over Hamilton in mid-week.

He recently signed a new contract that will keep him at the Parkhead club until 2021.
