Celtic captain Scott Brown has completed more passes than any other British-based player in the Champions League so far this campaign.

The 31-year-old has played every minute of Celtic’s four Champions League group games, where he’s completed 275 of 287 passes attempted. That adds up to an incredible completion percentage of 96.

Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is the next highest British-based player in the table with 258 passes completed.

Brown still trails the likes of Thiago Silva and David Alaba in the overall table, sitting just outside the top ten.

He’s joined in the British-based list by Erik Sviatchenko, who’s joint fourth with Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny.
