“I’m sure if you had asked Neil Lennon what would be the most difficult draw for Celtic, he would’ve said Hearts at Tynecastle.
“It’s another great opportunity for our young players to prove themselves against the top team in Scotland.”
Meanwhile, Locke revealed midfielder Jamie Hamill had not trained so far this week because of a tight hamstring.
Hearts face second-placed Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday having taken one point from eight games since beating the Dons at home.
All-Premiership ties
There are three other all-Premiership affairs with Hibernian travelling to Ross County - who defeated the Easter Road side in a replay in 2010 - Partick Thistle welcoming Aberdeen to Firhill, and Dundee United hosting Kilmarnock.
Rangers face a trip to Falkirk while Queen of the South will welcome St Mirren to Palmerston Park.
Inverness CT face Morton at the Caledonian Stadium and Albion Rovers take on Motherwell. St Johnstone face Championship side Livingston at McDiarmid Park.

Culter or Berwick will host Dumbarton and Fraserburgh, who knocked out Montrose in the last round, face the winners of the replay between Stenhousemuir and Annan.
Brechin entertain Forfar, Alloa Athletic welcome Stirling Albion to Recreation Park and there’s a Championship clash at Dens as Dundee play Raith Rovers.
Ayr United, semi-finalists in the 2001/02 season host Dunfermline, who made the fourth round draw after an eight-goal thriller at Elgin.
