Golf: Iben Tinning has winning end in her sights
Tinning, the 2005 European No 1, is playing in her final event on the Ladies European Tour, a serious hip injury having forced her to bring a 15-year career to an end. She set up the possibility of a fairytale farewell after a third-round 69 at The Emirates Golf Club to stand level with Reid (68) on eight-under-par 208.
"I'm actually a little bit of a romantic. Probably doesn't look like that, but I am," said Tinning, a five-time LET winner who has her husband Lasse Tinning-Degn on her bag for the week.

Tinning has chalked up four top tens in the Dubai event, tying for second behind former world No 1 Annika Sorenstam in 2007 after running up a double bogey at the 72nd hole. Anna Nordqvist of Sweden and halfway leader Lydia Hall from Wales are a shot behind the two leaders heading into the final round.
Pamela Feggans is still the leading Scot despite a 77 for 222 dropping her down the leaderboard. Lynn Kenny (75) is two shots further back, with Krystle Caithness on 226 after a 77.
