Juniors hit by weather

Only two of the six Junior games scheduled for last night went ahead as heavy rain decimated the programme.

In the South Division, Haddington, looking for points to put pressure on the teams above them in the table, left it late to secure a vital 1-0 win at Spartans.

Sean Jamieson headed the only goal of the night with 12 minutes to go to move the East Lothian outfit into third spot with games in hand over Livingston and Fauldhouse.

The only other match to beat the weather was Dunbar versus Tranent, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Geoff Jones gave Dunbar the lead in the first half but Tranent equalised after the break through James McPartlin.
