Paul Gallacher rejoins Dunfermline as St Mirren land Graeme Smith

Former Scotland goalkeeper Paul Gallacher has completed his return to Clydesdale Bank Premier League newcomers Dunfermline.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract after rejecting a similar offer from St Mirren, to whom he moved from the Pars in 2009. The former Dundee United and Norwich player kept 25 clean sheets in 82 appearances in his first spell at East End Park.

Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre told the club's official website: "Paul has been a top goalkeeper over the years and we are delighted to get him. He was sought after by a few other clubs so I'm very, very pleased to have secured his signature."
