The Scottish judo players won 13 medals in the first three days of the competition to drive Team Scotland on the way to its target of a record 34-medal haul, but judo will not feature at the next Commonwealth Games.
It returned after a 12-year hiatus, Randall having won gold in Manchester in 2002 when the sport was last on the roster. However, Australia will host the Games on the Gold Coast in 2018 and judo was not part of its bid.
