Wanderers retain the Beaney Cup
RHC Cougars gave as good as they got during the first quarter but, once Martin got her first try of the day and the Barnton outfit had a player sin-binned, things started going one way. Wanderers added a second try through captain Laura Steven before the break and further tries after half-time from replacement Emily Leger and Scotland cap Martin saw them move 20-0 up. RHC scored a late try, but Wanderers retained the trophy with a 20-5 victory.
Earlier, Hillhead/Jordanhill won the Plate, beating Aberdeenshire Quines 58-15, while Stirling County defeated Cartha Queens Park 32-15 to win the Bowl.
